Ryan Ludwick cleared three ducks from a very crowded pond with a grand slam at
the ballpark where the Dyersville Jurassics beat the Chainsaw Proctologists
15 to 6.
Ludwick had a big day against Chainsaw. He hit a single in the 5th inning and
quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam in the 7th inning. Dyersville lit
up the scoreboard in the 7th inning when they had 7 runs on 6 hits.
Offensively, Dyersville was a juggernaut. They scored in 6 separate innings.
Gavin Floyd(3-2) went 7 and 2/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the win. Brad
Penny(1-2) absorbed the loss. Dyersville scored big getting 4 runs off him
in 3 and 1/3 innings.
